Music for Everyone

You know how much music can improve the life of a child: from self esteem to coordination to imagination, music opens doors. Which is why you're down with ushering Little One to music classes from an early age. Look no further than Music for Everyone's kid-friendly classes. Taught by early childhood music educator Jana Vitols, these 45-minute classes engage kids ages 2 to 5 through interactive play, folk dance, and musical improvisation.

Jana's nine years of experience is evident as she inspires a love of beats and movement. Under her leadership, kids (and caregivers!) move to the sounds of live accompaniment: they stomp like elephants, shakelike a rain cloud, leap like a frog, and sway like the wind. Jana uses the Dalcroze Eurhythmics approach which aligns movement and music, to teach youngsters about music theory in a super-fun way. What's more, Jana plays tunes on a handful of string instruments -- guitar, banjo, ukulele, and violin -- and tots get to explore and develop rhythmic capabilities using percussion instruments including triangles, maracas, claves, and finger cymbals.

The best part? Kids not only connect with the basic principles of music, but they also learn to express themselves in musical terms. That's music to our ears.
